On Sunday, July 26, 2009, Ronald Andrei Muresan and Carmen Maria Ionescu united in Holy Matrimony at the Cathedral.

Fr Alexandru Partioc officiated this wonderful Holy Sacrament (the first one In several years here), and there were several family and friends in attendance.

The Bride wore a beautiful traditional white gown and the groom wore a very dapper black tuxedo. The Matron of Honor and the flower girl wore red.

May God Grant you both Many Many Years!

HOLY BAPTISM AND CHRISTMATION OF KIERSTEN SCHULTE

On Sunday, October 11, 2009, we are proud to announce that Kiersten Schulte was received into the Holy Orthodox Faith by Baptism and Christmation immediately following the Divine Liturgy.

She worked diligently to prepare for this joyous day with her fiancé, David and her Godparents, William and Maria Earp, along with the support of her parents, Arthur and Pamela Ewing. Fr Alexandru Partioc officiated.

Afterwards, we had a small celebration in Gilbert Hall with cake and tea.

On Sunday, November 8, 2009, Mary Lapko and Steven Douglass were united in Holy Matrimony after the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral. There were many people in attendance (most that came in time to witness the Divine Liturgy, as well).

The Sacrament was officiated by Fr Alexandru Partioc, and Janet Damian led a beautiful trio in singing the responses, and Mary's father, Michael Lapko chanted the Epistle.

The Bride wore a beautiful white gown trimmed in red, while her sisters, Brandy and Faith witnessed in their red gowns. The gentlemen were stunning in their black tuxedos.
